I was bidding for a 2.5* NMA hoping to get Holiday Inn Express. My first bid was $45 for 2.5* NMA. I was surprised to be accepted almost instantly and upgraded to a 3.5*. Total paid for 6 nights inc tax and fees was $320.76. Great deal for Easter week but when I called up my reservation on the Allerton website I saw that Priceline had only paid $219.01 total for my stay so would have had an even lower bid accepted - possibly $35?? Heads up for anybody who may need a hotel for around these dates.

Thank you for sharing your results with the board! :)

Not sure regarding the rate seen on the website, but this is an absolutely outstanding rate for late March. I strongly doubt a rate much lower would have been accepted and question whether a lower rate would have been accepted at all. I'm seeing $90 as the lowest rate on the hotel website, but it could very easily be higher by the time these dates roll around.

Thanks, I couldn't believe my luck. I did notice for the last 3 days of my stay the rate goes right down on Expedia and also on Priceline(not name your own price). I presumed that because it is showing an average daily rate before tax of $31.63 on my hotel reservation that that would be about the price they would accept. Probably worth giving it a shot if somebody wants those dates.
