gottagetta Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 I'm looking for some help to bid on a 3 star or above hotel in the Cranberry Township just north of Pittsburg PA. I'm planning a two night stay for two adults for Oct 23/09 to Oct 25/09. I went to some of the hotel's web sites in the area and they look like most of them have no availability. I'm not sure if there is some sort of event going on that weekend. Any help on bidding would greatly be appreciated.
AaronJB Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Please first follow-up with what you did for your Priceline Orlando stay (post in that thread, not here). Then reply to this thread and we will look into the above. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links.
taliategan Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Rooms should be tight for that weekend because of a Steeler Home Game and Pitt's Homecoming Weekend. There are no HOTWIRE listings for those dates. If you can get a 3* or above on PRICELINE, it may be tough to get a good deal. There are only 3 listings for hotels in Cranberry zone on this board, one of which is a 3* - the Hyatt Place. I would suspect the 3.5* that is reflected on PRICELINE for your dates - but not reported here - may be the Marriott, which is a newer hotel. I have been there for daily conferences, but never stayed there. Seems like a very nice hotel, but I was never in the rooms. The Four Points, which is reported as 2.5*, is a large hotel. It has been there for a while - I also been there for daily conferences, but never stayed there. Somewhat surprised it is a 2.5* rather than a 3*, but maybe the rooms need refurbished.
