demmerich1 Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Hello,I am new here. I have never used HOTWIRE or PRICELINE before. I am headed to Las Vegas 03/01/10 thru 03/05/10 and would like to try Hotwire. We've gone to Vegas every year for the past five years. Rather than launching the usual exhaustive search for "the perfect hotel", I've decided that I want to try something different (read: less time-consuming and stressful). In addition, I actually want a deal this time. This is what I came up with:4.5* south strip for 196.00Resort Suite Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services Does anyone have any idea what hotel this could be? Off the top of my head, I don't know of any hotels that are considered a resort, at least not in the sense I am thinking of. Also, it says that it will be a suite. Does anyone have any experience booking a suite through Hotwire? If so, was it a suite in the sense that it had a separate bedroom? Thanks in advance for any help. It is appreciated!
thereuare Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please doublecheck the zone of this property... i believe you're seeing a near South Strip property which is different than "South Strip".Also, as you say you're looking for a "deal"... would you consider $196/nite to be a deal? :) (when there are 5* hotels in the central strip zone for less, as well as a 4.5* in the central strip zone for less than half this price)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. demmerich1 Posted October 17, 2009 Author Report Posted October 17, 2009 It says South Strip Area. Well, if it's a suite with a separate bedroom, 196.00 may be a deal. I've stayed in several that were 250.00+. It depends on what each defines as a suite. Some call all their rooms "suites."
thereuare Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 This property has not yet been reported to the board, and i'd venture a guess that this is a time share type property (ie- similar to the Jockey Club, Polo Towers, etc)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
