anywhereforsushi Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 I find this forum so helpful, so thank you very much for having it.I have been looking at a few posts related to whether a property may be a Sherator or Westin or Hyatt on Hotwire. The discussions have centered on the fact that if you look at the amenities, they are now fairly similar (with the Westin not having a laundry facility if I remember correctly), that it is difficult to tell them apart. However, I was wondering whether one particular detail had been overlooked, and that has to do with the resort fee listed separately. Can you compare the resort fee to tell which hotel it is? The reason I asked is that when I went to the Hyatt website, the resort fee is $15 per night, but the resort fee for Sheraton is $24 or so. So is that another distinguishing characteristic that you have run into before?
