Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip South) Westin

I am going to Vegas this weekend and am looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel on the Strip for under $100 per night. North or South Strip is fine but I would prefer South.

I don't see any last minute deals and was hopine Priceline would have something. How do I navigate the bidding? Any help would be appreciated.

PRICELINE's North and Strip zones include hotels that are slightly off the strip... namely the Westin in the South Strip zone and Trump in the North Strip zone. Would these be acceptable outcomes?

I doubt you're budget is enough for a 5* but no harm in trying for that first, then trying for a 4* if that is rejected.

At the 5* level you have NINE re-bid zones available... only TWO re-bid zones at the 4* level. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Well I got the Westin for $90.

I couldn't figure out which zone was my second choice for 4*. Isn't there a way for you to list out what the zone to add is called? Just a thought.

Oh well, it's last minute and a $70 savings from the price listed on their website. I'm happy.

Glad to see you received a nice deal for this stay. Re-bid zones can and do change all the time, what if this morning we listed ZoneA to use as a re-bid zones but later in the day a hotel in this zone was added or upgraded so that this zone no longer qualified as a re-bid zone... you'd add it and end up on the wrong place :) You need to know how to check these yourself as they should be checked before bidding cycle.
