Please provide suggestions as to what hotel this is:

3.5* Times Square Hotel

$135/night

Amenities include: suite, fitness center, restaurant, business center and high speed internet access

Please also let me know if you think this is a good price at this time of year.

The above is a match for the Doubletree Guest Suites so that woudl be my best guess.

This is an "OK" rate for NYC (in "opaque" terms... you'd likely never find much thru conventional means at this price and star level) but it depends how flexible your needs/plans are and what you're looking for. If you only want to stay in Times Square and/or have a Suite property, then this would be a good deal... if you're more flexible and are willing to stay in other nearyb midtown zones, then i think you can do a little better, either a 4* hotel for about the same price OR a 3.5* for a little less.

First time with successful results (using the PRICELINE link in this forum of course). I was too cheap on the 4* hotels so I finally downgraded to 3.5*.

1st bid:

Times Square 3.5*

$95

2nd bid: added Chelsea

$100

3rd Bid: added Long Island

$105

4th Bid:

$110 added Upper East Side - ACCEPTED

If anyone has any experience with this hotel and whether this is a good deal let me know.
