Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (Downtown-Soho-Financial) Millenium Hilton

I started bidding tonight ( through your PRICELINE link of course :) ) @ 120.00 for 4* downtown/soho 11/7 to 11/11 and worked my way uptown through all the zones in manhattan by going up 5 dollars per zone and I had no luck. Tomorrow night I'm going to go at it again starting 4* downtown and I'm going to work my way back uptown again and I'm wondering what price should I start at? I'm thinking 150??? I thought the 4* hilton downtown was going to be easy because I have seen a couple of people getting it around the same time for 125 to 130. Any opinions? It has got to be 4* and I want it as cheap as possible!!

Is Downtown your preferred zone or why is it that you're starting there?

Exactly which 4* zones are acceptable to you? What is your maximum bid for this stay?

Started bidding at 120 yesterday and bidding up 5 bucks per zone in all zones in manhattan with no luck. Tonight I started around 155 and went up to 210 in all zones for 4* and finally got the Millenium Hilton for 11/7 to 11/11 for 210.00. I think it was the weekend that ran the price up. A couple of people on this site were getting it around 130 per night in the same month. The total bill with taxes was 1010.08. It is still far below what you would get on a regular travel site like Expedia. I can't complain.
