kowabunga Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 Started off bidding on 4* and 3.5* hotels in Riverwalk-Downtown area, ranging in price from $50-$65, using re-bidding method. Didn't get any bites.Lowered down to 3* level since the hotels still looked nice. Started off my bid at $48/night and was immediately accepted. Total with taxes and fees (and optional insurance) is $130 for two nights. We will be within 1/2 mile of the Riverwalk! :)Very happy! As always, used the PRICELINE link from here. Tried to look at Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins but there weren't any to go on.ETA: Moderators--I'm sorry, I realized I didn't format my post title/subtitle properly, and it was too long to fit.
