Priceline Hotel: 3.5* NYC (MTE) Tudor Hotel at the UN

Had 2 day business meeting near the NY yacht club. Watched hotwire for a while and gave priceline a shot

4* TS $190 declined

4* TS , MTE $205 declined

3.5* TS, MTE $220 won with Tudor UN

Dont know much about it, but looks like an old crown plaza?

location is 2nd ave/42nd street so it should only be a short walk to meetings near 5th and 6th ave

I've stayed at this property... room was clean, if not a little dark, and a bit larger than i expected compared to other NYC hotels. The check-in desk is not a 'formal' desk but more of a window/counter, so it misses that feel of a "full service" hotel (although they do have a restaurant, bar, and business center on-site). It offers basic accomodations, but i wouldn't expect any 'extra' services such as concierge, etc.
