Priceline Hotel: Strategy for New York 22/10/09-29/10/10 3.5* to 4*

-are you willing to pay more for a 4* than a 3.5* or is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better?

Would like to be able to get the best price on a 4* in Zone 2 or Zone 9 on the priceline.co.uk site. However would also consider a 3.5* if it was something decent, somewhere safe and clean is the priority.

We have my 2 children travelling with us but are quite happy to share a room so a room with 2 double beds would be fine, is that the norm for most 4*
