Priceline Hotel: 2.5* San Francisco (San Mateo) Best Western Coyote Point Inn

Hi! New to this forum, my first post

Even though old, thought this info would be of help

Booked through priceline directly, but will use the PRICELINE link here from now on.

Stayed here one night, got in LATE 1am. Hotel was booked, so had to have a smoking room.

Best Western says priceline customers automatically get smoking rooms and upgrade is $10??? (I called BW Customer Svc and they confirmed), so this may be an issue for some.

The hotel was decent in that they opened all the windows and aired out the place before our arrival. Since we planned on leaving at 9:30am, it was OK, but I would not want to spend a lot of days in a smoking room.

Important to note if coming from the South, they are working on the 101 Fwy in this area. Had to get off fwy and the detour was not good. Drove around for 15 min. before finding the hotel. Take a map or GPS

Maybe that is why $45?

Basic continental breakfast the next morning.

Overall hotel was clean, staff pleasant. Very much a 2.5*...don't expect frills...a decent place to crash for a few hours sleep
