webadass Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 I am looking for a 5-star option venetian, bellagio, palazzo, theHotel, wynn, encore (not trump) my maximum budget is $190 all-inclusive per night.can anyone help?
thereuare Posted October 7, 2009 Report Posted October 7, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! If you bid on PRICELINE there is no way to avoid the Trump, so bidding the entire Strip North zone wouldn't be an option, which elimiates the majority of the 5* hotels. You could bid the South Strip zone where the only 5* hotel that's been reported to the board is THEhotel, but there could be others (the Bellagio is the first 'other' hotel that would come to mind)However, i'll add that rates are generally high for these dates and i suspect your budget (which i'm guessing is ~$165 before taxes and fees??) won't be enough for a 5* hotel on these dates.Let us know if/how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. webadass Posted October 13, 2009 Author Report Posted October 13, 2009 ok i am ready to put down $550 all in. any tips? this is for 2 nights.
thereuare Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 What is your maximum bid price? (before taxes and fees?)Are you bidding both South Strip and North Strip (exposing yourself to the possibility of the Trump) or is that still not of itnerest and you're looking to bid $550 'all-in' only for a 5* South Strip property?Let us know the above and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. webadass Posted October 15, 2009 Author Report Posted October 15, 2009 i guess $250/night. i would just like to bid on south strip so i wouldn't get trump. does it only leave me TheHotel?
AaronJB Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 TheHotel is the only 5* that has been reported in that zone, and it is not reported as a win very often. If you would like a 5* and really don't want the Trump, the Signature@MGM is $274 w/$35 credit and 2 cocktails for a Junior Suite on Orbitz.com. Coupon code REVIEW10 gets 10% off = $246.60.Gets outstanding reviews on tripadvisor. Please use the site's Orbitz.com link if this is of interest.
