pricechecker
I need a room in Washington D.C. near the Capitol, 10/28-11/01, for three people, via Priceline. I know you are only guaranteed a room for two. Is it worth the risk? Will they usually provide a rollaway or something like that? Thanks!(new here...sorry if I posted this inappropriately. I did read the FAQs...) Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to the site. Only 1 bed is guaranteed per room; while you may be able to work with the hotel to get a rollaway or two beds, that may be an additional cost or the hotel may say no. There's always a risk with 3 people in one room via PRICELINE, but DC, NYC and Boston (and to a lesser degree Vegas) seem particularly risky. Link to comment
thereuare
If you decide you'd rather not take the risk, HOTWIRE may be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy, and guarantees 'sleeping accommodations' for everyone you include in your search (although the "second bed" could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway, etc)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
