Hotwire Hotel: 11/29-11/30, - Mag. Mile/Streeterville

I'd like to book a room in the Mag. Mile or even Water Tower area for Saturday/Sunday nights of Thanksgiving weekend, or possibly even just Sunday the 29th. The Hotwire rates still look very high, I thought they'd be lower for at least that Sunday night. Anyone think they'll come down?

I'm not sure what is going on this year, but in previous years - for whatever reason - there has tended to be a significant convention on the weekend after Thanksgiving. However, the lead-up to Thanksgiving is often one of the most inexpensive weeks of the Winter (and can be seen when looking up for 11/23-27, which has a 4* for $79.)

I appreciate your insights. I'm Thanksgiving-ing in lovely Naperville, and thought I'd grab 24 hours in the city before heading home (halfway across the country). I don't think I can manage the time on the front end, so I'll keep checking and will probably come to you for more help. Thanks!!

Me again - I've been watching HOTWIRE for weeks and this is the first price dip I've seen for these dates! I'm wondering if you can help with ID'ing the property, and do you think I should grab it or will others come down? There is a big convention in Chicago for these dates. Amenities: Boutique, Fitness, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet.

Best guess for this property is the Sutton Place (with a secondary guess of the Rafaello).

Is this in addition to or does it replace your previous Hotwire Chicago thread for the previous nite?

This replaces my previous post. I didn't pull the trigger and now the price is gone. I'm nervous about how expensive the rooms are for that weekend, and may make my first foray into Priceline bidding. I'll post on that link to report and will go through your system to book.
