Gallus50
Hotwire has listed a 3* for October 23-25th at $54 for two people (adult and child): Fitness Hi-Speed Internet I've searched the hotel list and vacation packages (not so helpful anymore) and can't find any 3* hotels with so few amenities. Unless they've deliberately left some off..? Any ideas/suggestions welcomed. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm going to speculate that HOTWIRE is 'hiding' some amenities on your search above...Change your search criteria to 2adults/2children and, for the same price (or within a few dollars) a 'new' 3* hotel appears in this zone with: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business. The above matches both the Crowne Plaza and the Holiday Inn so either of these would be our best guess. No guarantees this is the same hotel you're seeing above, so if you are interested in trying to target one of these two properties it would be better to purchase as 2adults/2chidlren since that is the 'stronger' match for these hotels. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Gallus50
Thanks, Thereuare. I did exactly the same thing as you last night and guessed the same alternatives. They sound OK, but not fabulous.I've bid on PRICELINE for 3* but only up to $46. So I'm going to investigate that further before I book something thru HOTWIRE. I'd even take a 2.5* thru PRICELINE if I can get one for $40 or so. (This weekend is for my daughter's activity, so I don't want to spend a lot.) Will let you know how it turns out, one way or the other... Link to comment
