Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Airport SFO) Hilton Airport

I used the betterbidding PRICELINE link to try to find 4* for about $100.

I tried $120 for the following areas:

Financial District - Embarcadero

Fisherman's Wharf

SOMA - Moscone Center

Union Square East

Union Square West - Nob Hill

without success.

I checked the retail portion of Priceline and AAA and I found out that most hotel are sold out.

I came to realization with other posts here that I can't get a room in San Francisco Downtown area without paying $200. So I settled on SFO unwillingly :)

My first try was $68 and it was rejected. I tried $85 and it accepted it.

On the side note, I checked that Hilton has this discount for VISA signature holders and pay the room with their visa. It would be only $81.xx if I have known before hand. Oh well.

Sorry to hear a room in your preferred area(s) wasn't in the cards for this stay... there have been quite a few difficult October dates in San Francisco this year.
