happyR Posted October 6, 2009 Report Posted October 6, 2009 I used the betterbidding PRICELINE link to try to find 4* for about $100.I tried $120 for the following areas: Financial District - EmbarcaderoFisherman's Wharf SOMA - Moscone Center Union Square East Union Square West - Nob Hillwithout success.I checked the retail portion of Priceline and AAA and I found out that most hotel are sold out.I came to realization with other posts here that I can't get a room in San Francisco Downtown area without paying $200. So I settled on SFO unwillingly :) My first try was $68 and it was rejected. I tried $85 and it accepted it.Thanks BetterBiddingOn the side note, I checked that Hilton has this discount for VISA signature holders and pay the room with their visa. It would be only $81.xx if I have known before hand. Oh well.
