Priceline Hotel: 3.5* NYC (Downtown-Soho-Financial District) Embassy Suites

...just wanted to let you know....Plans fell through with the first few nights using our friends apt. (had already secured un millenium plaza through your PRICELINE link for most of our stay) So, using your link...I was able to get Embassy Suites/ downtown 3.5 for $206. per night 10/09-10/12....not my first choice in location, but at this late date and since that is the big columbus day weekend it seems difficult getting anything,,,price is right with free breakfast so that offsets the location a bit...plus I have never checked out this area of nyc very much....not far from tribecca neighborhood...thanks,

Congratulations on your success!

I know these have been difficult dates as quite a few others are trying for the same weekend. The Columbus Day holiday usually isn't that big of a draw for NYC, but this year it appears to be the case.

PS- this is a new 'sit-down pizza restaurant' in the Downtown area i like... go for the rectangular pie, very reasonably priced for NYC, although drinks are expensive, which is often the case in NYC:
