Started bidding for 5* Singapore (City Hall - Marina Bay).

1st bid $70.

2nd bid $75.

Both bids failed.

Tried again the next day with a bid of $85 and it was excepted straight away. Quite a bargain for a 5* hotel in Singapore.. and what a hotel, it's rated one of the best hotels in Singapore by Tripadvisor.

For starting my purchases I used the Priceline-link in this forum.

I have to been trying to get a 5* hotel in the City Hall - Marina Bay area.

The price is highly dependent on the dates. I am looking for the 1/1/2010 - 1/5/2010.

I have bid up to $109 without success so far.

I'm thinking of going for a 4* now. Anyone have any idea which hotel you get in the city hall area at 4*?

Yes, the Conrad is nice - the question is whether you get miles/stay credit with these PRICELINE stays??

Occaisionally you can get stay credit for PRICELINE stays, but it shoudn't be expected, as it's more the exception than the rule.

However, the savings are usually enough to forgo the points.
