Hotwire Hotel: San Francisco New Year's

Have never used hotwire before. Would appreciate tips for secuing a nice 4-star hotel for SF over New Year's weekend. What hotels generally are available from hotwire? Anything I should beware of? Thanks

Trying to figure out what San Francisco 4-star Union Square hotels these are from hotwire...Can anyone help

1) 4-star, Union Square West, $110 night rate for New Year's weekend has

2) 4-star, Union Square East, $116/night for New Year's weekend

The USE hotel is most likely the Westin... the description also matches the Argent and the Grand Hyatt, but a Customer Comment mentions the 'heavenly beds' which would be indicative of the Westin.

The USW hotel matches both the Nikko and the Hilton... you may know the area better than i do, and based upon a comment about 'the chandaliers in the lobby' i would guess the Hilton based upon the pictures i saw (unless you know the Nikko has this description as well).
