1000Islander Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 11/05 - 11/08It's driving me crazy. I need two rooms. The property appears, then on the last step, it is no longer available. Over and over again.Welcome to the site. :)What are the dates of travel? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
1000Islander Posted September 29, 2009 Author Report Posted September 29, 2009 Continually get this message, though the property keeps appearing"We're sorry, but the itinerary you selected is no longer available"
AaronJB Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Unfortunately, that means that HOTWIRE likely has no inventory left of this listing.
AaronJB Posted September 29, 2009 Report Posted September 29, 2009 Is there a particular area you need to be in? How many in each room? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
1000Islander Posted September 30, 2009 Author Report Posted September 30, 2009 Looking for downtown. Two in each room.Same offer continues to appear. Same error message at the very end.
AaronJB Posted September 30, 2009 Report Posted September 30, 2009 Would indicate HOTWIRE is out of inventory, but surprised that they haven't updated it at this point. There is the 4* Smoke Free property in the Mag Mile area for $116, which is likely the Sheraton. I don't particularly like that hotel - I've thought it to be mediocre when I've stayed there in the past - but it is well-located.While not as upscale, the new Springhill Suites is $219 on the first two nights, third night free = $140 average. Coupon code 10SEP takes $20 off (which is essentially tax for one room for one night.) Free breakfast, larger room and really nice River North location. If you are only two to a room and don't need two beds, a PRICELINE bid for a 4* in the River North/NMA would also be a fine option for these dates.Let us know your thoughts and we can offer further suggestions from there. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
