Priceline Hotel: Need help with hotel stay in NYC 10/9-10/11

I'm going to NY on vacation from 10/9-10/11. I would like to stay around Times Square but am willing to stay in CPS, Chelsea, Downtown, ESB, MSG, MTE, and MTW. I would maybe consider Upper East/West Side. I would like a 3 star or higher and I'd like to spend around $150. I am new to this whole thing so I really need some help!!!

I just got the 3.5 star Marriott Marquis for $160 a night for Oct 11-13. It is in the heart of Times Square which I am not fond of but was getting nothing anywhere else.
