The stay was great, super location. very nice hotel deserves the extra half star. We asked for (and got) a river view room which was really smashing.

Yes I did start from beterbidding, and am a complete converts to this way of booking hotels. We did a 10-day east coast road-trip Boston to Florida and there were 3 nights we didn't know exactly where we would get to so we just had to do "walk-ins". Very ordinary hotels - say Holiday Inn express or Hampton Inns, OK but nothing special, they generally asked $99 and we got them down to $85 each time. This is quite a bit more than the better hotels we stopped at by using priceline and hotwire, where I paid $55 - $80 but for a much nicer rooms/condos.

I am now a Priceline "evangelist" and tell all my friends what good deals can be had by going through betterbidding then PL/HW.
