Or

3.5* Midtown East gym, pool, restaurant, business, high speed (4), tennis (?)

rating of 4.0 on trip advisor

or

2* Times Square restaurant only

rating of 3.0 on trip advisor

i am in the process of deciding between the two places. It's a surprise present for my husband. Whichever place I can find a better deal is where we will go!

If you are looking purely for more reasonable rates, San Fran is likely going to offer better rates - and after searching, I'm seeing 4*'s for the $90's in San Fran during this period.

While I like NY a great deal, in terms of cost, you could stay 3 nights in San Fran for the cost of the 3.5* TS for 1 night.
