Priceline Hotel: 2.5* San Diego (Mission Valley) Holiday Inn Select

Started offering at $30 for 2.5*, Mission Valley in one browser, Mira Mesa in another. Added Coronado to each for $35, added Miramar to each for $40, added Coastal to each for $45(had previously bid coastal to $40 yesterday), finally added Mira Mesa to Mission Valley for $50 and received Holiday Inn Select, Hotel Circle, Mission Valley. 9 bids, one win, on what appeared to me to be my last chance for 72 hours (also at max I was willing to pay).

Prepay, no cancel price on hotel website is $96/night plus tax, saved about $240 (45%+). Was hoping for a Residence Inn but cheapskates can't be choosers!
