Priceline Hotel: Looking to bid for a 3.5* TS 10/2-10/4

I saw some people have gotten the TS Marquis for around $180. I am looking to get similar results for a 3.5*, but have never really used PRICELINE. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Few things:

Rates are date specific, so you can't necessarily apply another user's win to your own stay when your trip is for a different set of dates.

You also can't bid on a specific hotel, so when you mention "I am looking to get similar results" if you are looking for this specific hotel or if you're comfortabel with any 3.5* hotel (or better) in PRICELINE's boundaries of the Times Square zone. Let us know your thoughts in this regard.

Lastly, is the Times Square zone the only zone you're willing to accept? You'd likely improve your chances by including other zones and give other hotels the opportunity to accept your offering bid.
