eccm Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I was expecting the Sheraton or Westin Peachtree based on the reviews I read, but I "won" the Hilton. It doesn't seem as if there is an indoor pool, which is one of the main things I was looking for and the other 2 hotels had. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.Just saw on Hilton's website that parking is $21/day! You might not want to choose this hotel if you are looking for a deal.
eccm Posted September 26, 2009 Author Report Posted September 26, 2009 Sorry, I'm new at this. The hotel costs $73 each night. Also, the amenities are fitness center, business center, pool, restaurant. And, I booked by clicking the HOTWIRE link on this page.
thereuare Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Sorry to hear you didn't receive the hotel you were expecting, but both the Sheraton and Westin now have Smoke Free icons associated wtih them, not listed in the amenities for the hotel you purchased, so that could have been a tip-off that this was not likely one of those properties. Feel free to ask for help/confirmation of what you think you might be receiving before your next opaque purchase.I don't think the parking charge is out of line for a Downtown hotel... the Sheraton is $20/self parking and $25/valet, so i'm guessing $20-$25 is probably the going rate for the area.Thank you for sharing your results with the board and using our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.Enjoy your stay... hope it goes better than you expect. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
