BP1 Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 Hi, I'm new here.Winning PRICELINE bids for September AS FOLLOWS:Newark Airport Renaissance: September 14, 15 & 16, 2009: $76.00 per night - Priceline rated 3 1/2 Stars :) Washington (DC) Renaissance Marriott: Sept 17 & 18, 2009: $67.00 per night - Priceline rated 4 Stars :) The DC hotel was lovely, albeit a bit far from White House, Capital, Smithsonian, etc. Was very close to ChinaTown however. Starbucks in the lobby, good affordable restaurants, excellent beds and bedding-extremely comfortable, easy self-parking beneath hotel.The Newark hotel should have been Priceline rated as a 2 1/2 star. Certainly not a 3 1/2 star. Would not stay here again. Rundown. Staff very helpful though. Did have excellent beds and linens-very comfortable.Also, I have no idea how to get these winning bids on the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.
