Would you know what the 4+ star hotel is that says it's a Leading Hotels of the World, Preffered Resorts, etc. The ammenities are: shuttle, (restaurant), fitness room,pool,internet,business center, tennis. I just searched again and also see a Golf icon... can you confirm these are the amenities you're seeing for the 4* on your search:

I thought the 4* was the Hilton from reading your other responses. Besides, the Hilton is no on the Preferred Resort or Leading Hotels of the World. But thanks for your help. Kathy

The "Preferred Resorts" and "Leading Hotels" are only some of the possibilities, not all. I'd agree this is most likely the Hilton.

Just curious, HOTWIRE is sending a 4* and a 4+ for the same location and amenities as above ( I received e-mail today), so would they be for same hotel, one price is $68 and the other is $92 would they do that for the same hotel in the same e-mail? Just trying to learn how to play the game, thanks

I really am not sure what you are refering to as 4+. Exactly what is it that is being offered. Please provide the information as follows:

These are different properties.

If you do your HOTWIRE search again and click the CONTINUE button next to each offering, on the ensuing page look to the right of the map and you'll see a Tripavisor user review rating... one has a 3.5 and the other a 4.0, further evidence that they are different properties.

The 4.5 matches previous reports for the Fairmont Newport Beach so that would be my best guess for that one.
