Priceline Hotel: 3* Ft Lauderdale (Downtown) Hyatt Place Airport North

We booked a room thru Priceline for January 30th. From what I understand there's a boat show scheduled that weekend at one of the marinas and rooms seemed to be at a premium. We were concerned because everything I checked was coming up at $175-300 a night. Far more than we wanted to spend. Ended up trying Priceline. Tried for a 4* got nothing, tried again for a 3 1/2*.. still nothing... then tried a 3* at a lower price and offer was accepted. $72 plus taxes/fees for Hyatt Place Airport North, Ft. Lauderdale.. I compared prices at 5-6 travel sights and all had the price of $227 for the same night. Also checked and the reviews I read were excellent. Has airport shuttle and it appears port shuttle, if not, it's only 1/2 mile from port. Even includes breakfast. Thought I would share this, I know many of us are really trying to keep costs down with our present economy.

I used this site last year and got the Hyatt Place FLL Airport north - it was great. I tried PRICELINE to get it again this Nov. and selecting the FLL airport North, area 4 only allows a max of 2 stars. Since the Hyatt Place is 3 stars I don't think this would work. Should I put in the FLL Airport area 5 which does go up to 3 1/2 stars?
