Flying Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 My bid for a 4-star hotel in the Downtown-White House area was successful but only on my second try. My first bid was $110. I received a message allowing me to try again if I raised my bid by $22. I tried $132 and got the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, a Marriott hotel. This was my first time trying PRICELINE and I'm pleased. I've been looking for a place to stay for a couple of days and this is the best deal I've found. On other web sites, this hotel's rates begin at $389/night.
