crsshiplover
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help ID a 2.5* hotel on St Pete Beach. It shows beachfront, no smoking, swimming and high-speed internet for $64 Oct 21-24. If you are able to help, I'd be curious how you figure it out so I can be more self-sufficient next time. I've figured out Priceline, but not so good at figuring out Hotwire. Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
At 2.5* rated at priced at $64/nite (and a TA rating of 3.5*)... why this porperty? There is a 3* (higher rated than above), priced at $59/nite (cheaer than the above), and a TA rating of 4.5 (an excellent user review score, and again, higher than the above)Similarly there is a 4* hotel for $73/nitem, just a few dollars more than the 2.5* above, and a TA rating of 4.0, which woudl be a big jump in star quality for just a little more money vs. the 2.5* property. Is there something in particular you're looking for? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. crsshiplover
My guess is that the higher stars are associated with the Tradewinds (Island Grand or Sandpiper) and the price would really be what is quoted + $25/night for the resort fee. I am looking for something with a lower price range on the beach. The Sirata charges $8/nt for parking and the cabana rental is now $30/day from private beach vendors. Link to comment
