Hi,

I was seeking some help on free bid zones for San Diego (Downtown-Harbor Island/Coronado). I would prefer 4* only...trying to avoid Sheraton if possible but I know you cant choose on Priceline.

Dates 10-11 thru 10-13

THank you!!!!

At the 4* level you have TWELVE re-bid zones avaialble.

Please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained to learn how to identify your re-bid zones and confirm them with the board before bidding. If you read the previous link and are confused or don't understand something, feel free to ask for help and we'll break it down further for you.

Thank you..I am trying to figure out which areas of the city do not have a higher than 3* or 3.5 * to give me a free rebid..since I am only bidding on 4*

For example, I know when I have to rebid, I can add Old Town area because the highest I believe is 3* in that area.

Any other information out there? Thank you :)

From Priceline Re-Bidding Explained:

The way to check what star levels are available in each zone is to open a PRICELINE page, check ONLY the zone you are inquiring about, and then proceed to the next page (as if you were going to select a zone)... this will give you the available star ratings in that area. You can then hit BACK on your browser, uncheck the current box, check the next box, and repeat the process. It is important to do this before EACH attempt at adding a zone that you really don't want, as new hotels can be added and the star ratings can change at any time. (NOTE: for most users Priceline has updated their interface making the above process easier... simply check a zone and note the highest star rating available within each zone, UNcheck that zone and checkmark the next zone, repeating the process)

Have you gone to PRICELINE and clicked each zone in the San Diego region, one zone at a time, to see the highest star rating available in each zone?

Started bidding at $60 and increased by a few dollars each time following the strategy the board provides and using the free rebid zones for a 4* hotel
