napota Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Hotwire includes the following facilities: Spa, fitness center, high-speed internet, business center, restaurants. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm looking for a real 4* for around $250-$300, do you think that priceline might be better? Thanks!

AaronJB Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)There's no way to get a particular hotel on HOTWIRE; the service offers a set of hotels at a discount for your dates, but not all hotels are always offered. The 4* MTE would likely be the W New York.To be able to figure out the Midtown Central, please list the amenities as you did with the MTE listing. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE link to start your purchase.
napota Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 previous post has been updated to include amenities, thanks for your prompt response.
AaronJB Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 The amenity set for the MTC could be a match for the Helmsley Park Lane, Sheraton, Royalton, Sofitel, Warwick or Flatotel. However, the 4/5 tripadvisor rating would narrow that down to the Helmsley, Warwick or Royalton. The Downtown/Soho 4* would be a match for the amenities reported with Gild Hall or the Soho Grand, but the tripadvisor rating matches neither, making me think that this could very well be a different hotel (The Tribeca Grand, presented with a slightly different amenity set? That would be just a guess.)Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
napota Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 Booked the W for 8 nights @ $289/night. Thanks for your help. Used the HOTWIRE link from betterbidding of course.
AaronJB Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Looks like an excellent deal for the W during a busy time period. This is the first W property, and was renovated last year.Using the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase is greatly appreciated.Enjoy your stay.
