boston2303 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 Hi! I've been reading through the posts trying to figure out the bidding strategy but I thought it might be easier just to submit my own post to ask for help. Ive never used Priceline but I've read through the info boards on here so I know a little bit. I'm trying to book a hotel for my husband and I for Oct 3 for 1 night. We'd just be going for a fun weekend trip away so we're not particular about any specific location aside from it not being scary. I think we'd be okay with anything 3 star or above. I'd like to keep total price less than $200 a night, meaning total with tax and everything. I'd really appreciate any advice in terms of how to go about this, especially regarding if I get rejected today should I continue trying daily or more than once per day? Thank you all so much! This site is very helpful!

boston2303 Posted September 23, 2009 Author Report Posted September 23, 2009 I'm sorry but I don't know how to bump a thread.
thereuare Posted September 23, 2009 Report Posted September 23, 2009 You bump a thread by adding a reply to to it, just as you have done... this 'bumps' it back into the queue to be reviewed. Are you willing ot pay more fo ra higher rated hotel OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay? Please go to PRICELINE and look at the map for this region and let us know which zone(s), by PRICELINE name, you're willing to accept... we'll then be able to suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
