This hotel was previously a Best Western but recently changed to Days Inn and Suites. When I booked this hotel, it came up on Hotwire as a 2.5* hotel, but when I checked back again later on Hotwire, a hotel with the same 8 amenities was listed as a 2* hotel. So, I think that it is probably now listed on Hotwire as a 2* hotel.

This is definitely a 2* hotel, however, it was not an unpleasant place to stay. It is obviously an older property but reasonably well maintained. The hallways show some modest wear and tear as you would expect with an older property, but there weren't any bad odors or stained carpet, etc. It is close to several dining establishments. I would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. For example, I was given a smoking room (thanks Hotwire) but the front desk clerk queried me about this before I even noticed and promptly moved us to a nonsmoking room.

The beds in the room were clean and comfortable. The shower was nice, with a high showerhead and good water pressure. The air conditioning worked well, although it was on the noisy side.

The amenities were somewhat inconsistent. On the negative side, the fitness center had one working treadmill that was a low-end model. The stepper, other treadmill, and the rowing machine were broken. There were a few hand weights, but most of them were missing. We ended up running outside, which was fine. But, if a fitness center is critical for you, you will want to stay elsewhere. Based on different guests that I spoke with the wireless internet access didn't seem to work in the rooms, although it was working fine in the lobby and in the area around the pool.

On the positive side, the pool was very nice. It was clean, large, and had a refreshingly comfortable temperature with a maximum depth of 8 feet. My son got a lot of use out of it and I also swam with him once. The breakfast was a reasonable continental breakfast, with milk and cereal (Raisin Bran and Fruit Loops), instant oatmeal, mini bagels, mini muffins, danishes, apple and orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee, and toast. We ate breakfast there three times. The breakfast was continually restocked throughout the breakfast time, which ended at 10am (9am on weekdays). If you mentioned that they were out of something, it was either on the way already or showed up shortly thereafter. There was only whole milk, but the orange juice was good. Of course, it was not a fancy breakfast buffet, but a decent continental breakfast.

I didn't try the on-site restaurant, but I didn't notice that it was very busy. I also didn't use the airport shuttle, so I can't provide any comments on that either.
