newtonewyork Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 I'm going to New York from UK on the 15th of October for 5 nights and need advice on what to bid, i'm not over fussy, but would like well located, clean place with private bath and double bed. Any suggestions please?
AaronJB Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)What would be your max budget per night, and what PRICELINE zones would you be interested in staying in?Please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchase.
newtonewyork Posted September 21, 2009 Author Report Posted September 21, 2009 thank you for your reply, think max budget is around $150/ $160 per night, incl taxes, although less would be good. would like to stay in 2,9 8, 10 or 11 ideally, but would consider 3,5,7 basically mostly central-ish, we are happy to do some walking.what do you think best strategy is?
thereuare Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 To avoid any confusion, please list the zones by PRICELINE name, not the numbers, so we know exactly which areas you're talking about and there is no misinterpretation (should the zone order change or PRICELINE add a new zone, which would then change all the zone numbers)However, i'll add that $160 'all-in' is only equivalent to about a $133/nite bid (before fees and taxes) which is not likely going to go too far in NYC for these dates... what star rating are you seeking? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
