ALK
I need to be in Houston the weekend of the 16 Oct and I am wanting to stay 4 days. About two weeks ago I looked and I could get a flight from Toronto-Houston +4* hotel for around 620. Now, I am seeing that the prices have gone up dramatically for those same dates.Am I going to be screwed if I wait until next week to book? Now, would it be better just to wait it out a little longer to see if prices drop, or are prices just going to keep going up?? Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to the site. :)There's no way to know, and it varies by city, date and hotel. If traffic starts ramping up (especially if there's something like a convention), so will prices and vice versa. However, if one waits, there's certainly the chance that prices can go against you - and possibly stay high. What would be your budget per night for hotel? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase. kair528
I'd like to comment that from my experience, it is usually more effective to save money when I think flight and hotel cost separately. Given that your travel date is within the month, I'd think that flight portion of the trip is driving the cost up. Link to comment
