Priceline Hotel: 3* Cincinnati (Airport CVG-Florence) Holiday Inn

After scoring the Westin for $62 a night in Downtown Cincinnati through Priceline over the weekend, our luck ran out as the business travellers poured into the hotel.

My parents were staying 2 more days, I was flying out the next day. Bid $50 for a 3 star at CVG for two nights. Disappointed.

The hotel was acceptable, but not 3 star. It was probably 3.5 star in 1995. Television didn;t work, no shampoo or towlels. We were quickly moved to the room next store with no problem.

As for the second room...Here is the weird part. I went back to book a room, same zone, same price, but for just one night. I ended up with this...

The Hilton!!!

Incredibly better than the Holiday Inn. Same price. HD tv. Super Clean. Great Shower.

Just goes to show it is luck of the draw sometimes.
