paasch Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 :) Bid $38 dollars a night for 10 night stay and ended up at the Clarion. This was a dive! Holes in the wall, dirty, disgusting. BEWARE!!! This was the room I booked for my father.I received a room for the same bid at the Amerisuites. Great place, free breakfast.

Thank you for posting and 'warning' us all about this property.Can you double-check your Priceline history and confirm that this hotel is indeed rated (or still rated) 2.5*... it was previously reported as a 2* property. paasch Posted December 1, 2004 Author Report Posted December 1, 2004 The hotel stay was from Nov 10 - Nov 19, 2004.Priceline called the Clarion Hotel & Suites a 2.5*. This was the same ranking as the Amerisuites where I stayed during roughly the same period. I contacted Priceline and complained about the property. Priceline's responce was that they supported their star ranking. Apparently when contacted by PL, the hotel staff LIED and said that they had already changed rooms for my father once, which was completely a false statement.
