FREE BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED FOR PRICELINE GUESTS.

It's not really located in the middle of anything in particular (there are no restaurants, shops or even a convenience store in the immediate area) it is right on top of a metro station - Markisches Museum on the U2 line, two stops away from Alexander Platz which in turn is 25 minutes by train from Schonefeld Airport.

The lobby isn't huge, but pleasant enough with an atrium and large statue (look up to see it!) and the immediate impression is of a 4-star hotel. However, once inside your room you'll feel more like a 3-star.

My room wasn't large, but I've seen worse. Most things are 'built in' and compartments abound! The minibar is small with a limited stock. There's no iron in the room and only one telephone (on the desk and not immediately by the beds).

In the bathroom: there are no toiletries or sundries other than a very small basic piece of soap and, oddly, a nail file (there is a liquid soap dispenser screwed to the wall by the bath). There are no big 4-star fluffy towels but very thin average ones.

There was a connecting door to my room, which, on the second night, leaked a lot of noise from the neighbours.
