queenbee Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 I had tried to get a 3* at $60, 65, 70, then rejected.HOTWIRE had a 3* and 2* for $79. Seemed like the 3* was either Hilton or Sheraton.I then included 2.5* and got La Quinta Inn for $60.I apologize for not using the PRICELINE link, I am bookmarking it right now.I just wanted to spread the info. Thanks!

nancat7 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 I had tried to get a 3* at $60, 65, 70, then rejected.had a 3* and 2* for $79. Seemed like the 3* was either Hilton or Sheraton.I wish the HOTWIRE 3* was Hilton or Sheraton. It ended up being the Holiday Inn. I'm not thrilled with the reviews I've seen so far. Also I really don't think of the Holiday Inn as a 3*. The Hilton or Sheraton are definately 3* but not the H Inn.
thereuare Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 nancat7,Queenbee may have made the assessment of the 3* on his/her search to be the Hilton or Sheraton based upon the amenities shown by HOTWIRE, not necessarily that the Hilton and Sheraton were the only 3 star hotels in the area. Can you please post the details of your purchase to the board as a NEW TOPIC so that others can benefit from your purchase too, and please include the amenities shown before your purchase (you can still view these by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
