wantametzia
Looking to go to Las Vegas 10-18 through either 20 or 21 When should I begin bidding on Priceline for airfare and looking for hotel near convention center. I am looking at 3, 3 1/2 or 4 star hotel right nearby. Any suggestions on prices or ways of bidding would be appreciated. Also on Priceline what should I expect to pay for rental cars through bidding with them. it will be my first time to Vegas, anything I need to know about extra fees??? Thanks in advance. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Let's take this one step at a time...When will your plans be firm and you'll know whether you need two nites or three? Are there you for a conference at the Convention Center, as most first time visitors usually want to stay on the strip. If you're there for a conference, how much of your time will be spent at the conference vs. visiting the sites and strip of Las Vegas? Will you need to go to the conference in the morning and return at the end of the day... or will you have a need for multiple trips each stay between the conference and your hotel? What is your approximate budget for this trip? (per nite before taxes and fees)Do you have a specific need for a car? (ie- are you traveling outside of the strip area at all?)Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. No particular budget, just looking for a decent hotel at a great price. The conference will be at the Renaissance. Link to comment
thereuare
When will your plans be firm and you'll know whether you need two nites or three????What is your approximate budget for this trip? (per nite before taxes and fees)Everyone has a budget... even if it's a price slightly below the best deal you're able to get thru convenional booking channles. Are you willing to spend $200/nite for a 5* hotel this trip? $150? $100? Do you need/want to be in a hotel with a casino?Want a car to get around at night.Unless you plan on traveling off the strip i don't think a car is necessary... everyone walks the strip or takes taxis (too easy to drink in Vegas so you don't want to be driving from place-to-place anyway). Priceline name your own price airfares seem difficult to track...any info on these???Will want to leave the night of the 20th or early on the 21st Link to comment
