JennyJenny Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 First bid: Duluth, 3*, $50Second bid: Duluth and Proctor, 3*, $75Third bid: Duluth, 3*, $85 accepted. 2 nights with tax and charges came to $202 and some change. This Radisson is a bit run down so I'm not looking forward to the stay. coffeelaker Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 I for the life of me cannot figure out what is going in Duluth that weekend that would warrant the high prices. Even hotwire only had hotels at $100+ range. Looks like there is a couple of UMD hockey games and special train ride up the shore to see the leaves, but other than that ?????
AaronJB Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 Duluth often seems unusually expensive for a smaller market.
