JosephMR Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 This is from HotwireAny guess as to this hotel?4.5 Stars; San Franciso, Union Square East--guess as to Hotel?Sept 18 & 19--$149 Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access I am thinking Intercontinental. Or Parc 55? One thing I really want to avoid is an old place with small outdated rooms. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
AaronJB Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)This would be a match for what has been previously been reported with the Intercontinental. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
JosephMR Posted September 10, 2009 Author Report Posted September 10, 2009 Thank you AaronJB. If it is the Intercontinental--I could join the Ambassador club for $150 and get one night free and pay the regular room rate of $179, plus get the benefits of the Ambassador club--for not a whole lot more $$$--no? If that is what I decide to do, however, next time I will use this site for PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. Which I use at least once or twice a month. Thank you.
thereuare Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I'm not sure how long the 'free nite' certificate takes to receive or if you can use it immediately upon paying the $150 initiation fee, but if you choose to book direct we have links in the support page to the InterContinental HOtels as well as most other major hotel chains and online booking agencies.Let us know whatever you decide to do.THANKS! and good luck. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
BEAV Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I am thinking Intercontinental. Or Parc 55?As info, the Parc 55 is in USW (not USE) nor does it have a swimming pool.
JosephMR Posted September 11, 2009 Author Report Posted September 11, 2009 This seems like a great deal--but I wish to avoid older hotels with small rooms--and I like nice bedding. Any guesses? 4 Stars San Francisco, Union Square East--which hotel?Sept 18 & 19--$119Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Any help is greatly appreciated. And of course, if I book this, I will use the HOTWIRE links provided by this great website.
JosephMR Posted September 11, 2009 Author Report Posted September 11, 2009 4 Star San Francisco/Knob Hill Union Square/J.W. MarriotSept 18 & 19--$99 per night (Friday and Saturday.) Great price on what looks like a great hotel. BUT, big warning: Parking is $50 per day. That is quite a scam. Anybody know any good places to park near by? And I am hoping that will all the windows I had open that I got your PRICELINE link correct.
AaronJB Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Certainly a fantastic price for this JW property. Hopefully a local will be able to provide parking suggestions.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using the site's PRICELINE link to start your purchase.Enjoy your stay.
AaronJB Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 The W Hotel and Palace Hotel have been reported with this amenity set, but on the detail page for this listing, there is a 4/5 tripadvisor rating, which would match the Palace.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase. :)
JosephMR Posted September 12, 2009 Author Report Posted September 12, 2009 Thanks! Decide not to even rent a car, just use public transportation. Staying in San Jose a couple of days, then train to San Francisco. Thanks for your help and your great website.
