If it is the Intercontinental--I could join the Ambassador club for $150 and get one night free and pay the regular room rate of $179, plus get the benefits of the Ambassador club--for not a whole lot more $$$--no?

If that is what I decide to do, however, next time I will use this site for PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. Which I use at least once or twice a month.

I'm not sure how long the 'free nite' certificate takes to receive or if you can use it immediately upon paying the $150 initiation fee, but if you choose to book direct we have links in the support page to the InterContinental HOtels as well as most other major hotel chains and online booking agencies.

As info, the Parc 55 is in USW (not USE) nor does it have a swimming pool.

Great price on what looks like a great hotel.

BUT, big warning: Parking is $50 per day. That is quite a scam. Anybody know any good places to park near by?

And I am hoping that will all the windows I had open that I got your PRICELINE link correct.

The W Hotel and Palace Hotel have been reported with this amenity set, but on the detail page for this listing, there is a 4/5 tripadvisor rating, which would match the Palace.

Thanks! Decide not to even rent a car, just use public transportation. Staying in San Jose a couple of days, then train to San Francisco. Thanks for your help and your great website.
