Looking at a 3* Financial District that shows non smoking, fitness ctr, restaurant, and high speed internet for $149 on Hotwire for September 20-22 from the link on the BB site. Any idea what property this might be?

Boston Back Bay,Copley Square 2* Sept 20-22, $155

I am looking on the HOTWIRE Link that is a 2* hotel in Boston's Back Bay, Copley Square for $155 that has No Smoking, Pool, Restaurant and High Speed Internet. Trip Advisor rating is 4 stars. Any idea what it might be. A little strange that the two ratings are that far apart.

This property has not yet been identified, but for the TA user review rating and the hotels' star rating to be so far apart is really not that strange, as the measure different things.

The TA rating is more of a user satisfaction than a quality rating... one could stay at an Extended StayAmerica, which has great employees, is clean, and a guest has a great time, and rate it 4 or 5... yet it would be far from a 4* or 5* hotels. Likewise, a guest can pay big bucks to stay at a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, and it may not live up to expectations for the price paid or the experience may not live up to the reputation of these companies... and a user could give their stay a rating of 2 or 3. I'd still take the lesser rated Four Season or Ritz Carlton vs. the well rated ESA :)

I booked this, which was the Boston Sheraton. Very nice hotel adjacent to the Prudential Center Mall, which had everything you could want. Hotwire saved us more than $30/night!
