stasik Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Amenities don't seem to match the Hyatt Place - Any thoughts?Amenities:Fitness CenterPool(s)On-Site RestaurantLaundry facilities
yellowdog Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 No, this is not the Hyatt Place.Best guess for this property would be Holiday Inn Raleigh -North.Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
stasik Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 Used your link to acces PRICELINE, got the room on the third bid.Started at RDU Area for $35. Added Cary at $40. Finally added Crabtree at $42. Total was $104 including taxes and fees.Holiday Inn prices out at $91 for those dates on Expedia. Hotwire showed nothing under $50 at a 3* level, so I think this is a good deal.
yellowdog Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) Looks like you got a good deal.Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog.PS. Does this stay replace the dates in this Hotwire question?
stasik Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 Actually the departure date should be 9-14 instead of 9-13. However this does replace that stay.
AaronJB Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Thank you for sharing your results with the board and congrats on your success.Certainly looks like a very reasonable rate for this property. It would be greatly appreciated if you could follow-up in that other thread mentioned above and post that you decided against that stay. Thanks for using the site's PRICELINE link to start your purchase.Enjoy your stay.
stasik Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 I think that post actually was deleted. I don't see it there anymore.

telamm Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 The Holiday Inn at Crabtree is okay. It's similar to the Brownstone downtown in my opinion. Probably merits 2.5* especially when compared to the Homewood, Marriott, or Embassy located nearby. I think the 3.5* is Homewood at Crabtree.
stasik Posted September 16, 2009 Author Report Posted September 16, 2009 The property was fine. Nice renovations in the rooms. The value for the money was quite good.
