ramones2112 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 it appears that priceline is offering only the trump on the north strip (5 *) and the westin (4*) and the luxor (3*) on the south strip. none of these have good reviews and are unacceptable to me. I am hoping for a 5* (mandalay south) or the Wynn north strip if i can't get the mandalay south.does it make sense to wait a few more weeks and see if the Trump, Luxor and Westin go away and something else appears? Or is it pretty much guaranteed I would get one of these?
thereuare Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 What is your budget for this stay... i'm seeing others than what you've mentioned above. Are you searching for more than one room or for more than the default 2adults/0children?Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. ramones2112 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Report Posted September 8, 2009 about $100 a nite. Me and a buddy splitting one room.thanks
AaronJB Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 The trade-off for the discounted rates on HOTWIRE and PRICELINE is that one has to be flexible on where they stay. If no HOTWIRE listings appeal, you could wait - but prices may rise if traffic goes up or new listings may not appear. What appears to be either the Wynn or Venetian is showing, but for $189.
ramones2112 Posted September 16, 2009 Author Report Posted September 16, 2009 According to the list for Priceline at your site, the Hard Rock is the only strip east at 4 *.If we are staying off strip... that's the only hotel we want... can anyone confirm that this is true?thanks
thereuare Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.Be sure to read the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List. Specifically:This list is NOT a complete list of all hotels that Priceline offers in this area, it is ONLY a compilation of hotels that have already been reported on this forum. Hotels are added/removed by Priceline all the time, and star ratings can change at ANY time. As well, the geographic boundaries of an area are subject to change, so it is always a good idea to look at the Priceline map before purchasing. DO NOT USE THIS LIST to determine what areas to add when attempting to bid again within the 24 hour window (CLICK HERE for information on how to add cities in order to bid again). In light of the above, you MAY get a hotel that is NOT on this list, or get a hotel on this list but at a star level you didn't expect (if the star rating has changed). Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
