Is it possible to give us advice for a bidding strategy for 10/12/09 - 10/20/09.

It is our 1st time in NYC and we want to stay in midtownd east/west of cps.

We want to spend +- 160 $ per night (taxes included) for a 3 or 4* hotel (the best for the least).

We understand the free reebid method.

I guess it is best to split these dates?

For the moment we have hotel 31 as a backup. Does anybody know another reasonably priced

hotel we can use as a backup plan?

Thank you very much!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

What is your budget before taxes and fees? I'm guessing at the moment your budget is going to be very tough for this complete stay, as well as for most subset of your dates. Given your budget is likely going to be a bit of a stretch, is there a reason you're not including other midtown zones such as TS and ESB at the 4* level and also MSG and Chelsea at the lower star levels? At lease including these alternate zones would give more hotels the chance to accept your bid.

Your thoughts?

How much is your back-up at the Hotel 31?
