My husband and I booked a one night getaway Sep 5, 2009 (Labor Day Weekend) via priceline and got the Eden Roc Resort & Spa for $140.

I read somewhere that valet parking was a rip off, and it is a bit much at $30 a day, so we chose to use the public lot next door. $10 flat rate per day to cover the hours of 6pm-8am...but once 8am came you had to pay for metered parking...and that kind of ruined the sleeping in plans we had (well, one of us). It was a bit comical to see how many others were also getting up early to add time to their meters to avoid a $30 per night charge.

The drinks at the lobby bar are a bit more expensive than those at the Cabana bar...so keep walking if you plan on drinking! We paid $15 for mojitos and $9 for a malibu and pineapple...and they include an 18% gratuity to all bills....but the drinks are good. If you like mojitos, I would encourage you to get the pitcher for just $38. It wasn't offered to us, but there were plenty of signs.

The hotel was clean, but a section was still under construction. Not sure what they are finishing or when it will be done. There are 3 large pools and plenty of chairs...but it was very overcast while we were there, so we never got to see the pool area in full swing.

We ate dinner at the Cabana restaurant and the food was very good as well as the atmosphere.

There is a Starbucks in the lobby and some kind of boat rental place across from the hotel. We didn't walk a lot, but we only found more hotels/condos when we did so since we couldn't move the car without paying another $10, we decided to stay in and enjoy the hotel...

We got room 1017, the most basic room you could get I'm sure. Very modern and clean...all I was really expecting. There appeared to be other rooms with 2 stories that looked pretty nice. Some overlooked the pool area and even had a private sitting area and gate into pool, while others were ocean front, but I don't think they had the access, just the views.
