travlgrl Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 I just wanted to share that I got a 3* hotel in McAllen, TX for $49 for our travel dates 11/12-11/17. The amenities were: airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast, fitness center, pool, business center, laundry facilities, high speed internet and golf nearby. This hotel turned out to be the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mission-McAllen Area, TX. Although this hotel is actually in Mission, TX, it's just a very short drive to McAllen, so I'm very pleased with what I got.
